Sound familiar?

Nobody minding the shop.

A website isn’t finished at launch. Without someone looking after it, it slowly gets slower, less secure and more out of date.

Our website’s been down since Friday and nobody’s answering.

The hosting company just sends me a ticket number.

I don’t even know who has the login for our domain.

Think MadThat’s what we’re here for. Ring us.

The kind of thing we hear every week. Not real quotes, just the gist.

What’s included

Everything a website needs after launch.

Your care plan spells out exactly what’s covered. These are the basics.

1Hosting

  • Fast and secure. Hosting that loads quickly, with an SSL certificate for the padlock.
  • Kept online. We keep an eye on it, so problems get spotted early.

2Updates and backups

  • Updated and tested. Software and plugins kept up to date, and checked afterwards so nothing breaks quietly.
  • Backed up. Regular backups kept somewhere safe, so we can put things back if something goes wrong.

3Small changes

  • Just ask. Text, photos, opening hours and the like. Email or ring and we’ll sort it.
  • No surprise invoices. Bigger jobs, like new pages or features, are quoted first.

4Yours, always

  • You own it. Your website and your domain belong to your business.
  • Easy to leave. If you ever move on, we’ll hand everything over properly.

FAQ

Hosting questions, answered.

Can’t see yours? Call 0151 316 0110 and ask a real person.

Can you look after a website you didn’t build?

Often, yes. We’ll look at it first and tell you honestly whether it’s in a state we’re happy to look after, and what would need fixing.

What counts as a small change?

Things like new opening hours, swapping photos, updating text or adding a team member. Your care plan lists exactly what’s included, so there are no surprise invoices.

What if the website goes down?

Ring us. You’ll talk to a person who knows your site. Your plan sets out how we keep an eye on it and how quickly we respond.

Do you back up our website?

Yes. Your plan says how often we back up, where backups are kept and how quickly we can put things back.

Who owns our domain and website?

You do. Your domain should be registered to your business. If you ever move elsewhere, we’ll hand everything over properly.

Is there a contract?

Not usually, and if one’s needed you’ll see the terms in writing first. If we’re doing a good job, you’ll stay because of that.
