The short version

Think Mad designs and builds websites for businesses across Merseyside, Cheshire and the North West from our office in Widnes. You get a site that’s planned around how you win work, written in plain English, fast on a phone and easy to update yourself. It’s quoted in writing before we start, there’s no long lock-in, and a person checks every page before it goes live.

Sound familiar?

Good at what you do. Website says otherwise.

Most of the businesses we work with already get recommended. The website is where it falls apart.

People keep saying they’ve heard good things. Then they never ring.

I’d honestly rather they didn’t look at our website.

It looks fine on my laptop. On my phone? Not so much.

Every tiny change is an email, a wait and an invoice.

Think MadRight. Let’s sort it. Brew?

The kind of thing we hear every week. Not real quotes, just the gist.

What you get

Everything a good website needs.

Every project is different, but this is what you can expect from us, every time.

1Before we build

  • A proper plan. We start with how you win work and who your best customers are, then map every page around the enquiries you want.
  • Words that sound like you. We write the copy with you, or tidy up yours, so every page says clearly what you do and why people should pick you.
  • A look that fits. Your colours, your photos, your personality. Nothing off a template shelf.

2The website itself

  • Phone-first. Designed for thumbs first, then bigger screens. Fast to load, easy to read, easy to tap.
  • Built to get enquiries. Click-to-call, short forms and a clear next step on every page, with your real reviews where people decide.
  • Ready for Google and AI. Clean structure, page titles, structured data and consistent business details from day one.
  • Accessible. Readable text, proper contrast and menus that work with a keyboard or a screen reader.

3When it goes live

  • Tested properly. On real phones and browsers, with every form and button checked by a person.
  • Tracking that works. Analytics and enquiry tracking set up in your own Google accounts.
  • Shown how to use it. We’ll show you how to update it, at our office or on a video call.
  • Yours, outright. You own the website, the words and the domain.

How it works

From first brew to go-live.

Written down at every step, so you always know what’s happening and what’s next.

Step 1A brew and a natter

We ask how you win work, who your best customers are and what the website needs to do. If we’re not right for you, we’ll say.

You: tell us about your business. That’s it.

Step 2A written plan

Every page, every feature, the timeline and a written quote, in plain English.

You: read it, ask anything, and say yes when you’re happy.

Step 3Design & build

You see it take shape and sign off each stage. AI helps with the legwork. A person checks every page.

You: send photos, check drafts, tell us what you think.

Step 4Launch & handover

Tested on real phones, tracking checked, training done. Then it goes live.

You: tell everyone who’s ever recommended you.

In their words

“They did a great job on my website. They showed me how to keep it all updated at their office in Widnes. Highly recommend Luke, Derek and the team.”

FAQ

Website questions, answered.

Can’t see yours? Call 0151 316 0110 and ask a real person.

How long does a new website take?

It depends on how many pages there are and how quickly the words and photos come together. You’ll get a timeline with your quote, and we’ll tell you straight away if anything is likely to move it.

Can I update the website myself?

Yes. We build on a platform you can use, and show you how before launch, at our office in Widnes or on a video call. If you’d rather not, we’ll make changes for you.

Do you write the words?

We can. We plan every page with you and write or tidy up the copy. You know your business; we know how to make it read well on a phone.

We already have a website. Do we need to start again?

Not always. We’ll look at it first. Sometimes it’s worth improving, sometimes starting again is better value. Either way, we’ll protect the Google rankings you’ve already earned.

Who owns the website?

You do. The website, the words, the photos and the domain are all yours.

Will it show up on Google?

It launches with the SEO basics done properly: page titles, structured data, speed and consistent business details. Ranking for busy searches takes ongoing work, which is what our local SEO is for.

How much does a website cost?

Every site is different, so every quote is too. After a chat you’ll get a written quote, so you know the cost before anything starts. Our website cost guide explains what changes the price.
