About Think Mad:
Think Mad is an innovative digital marketing agency, helping businesses across various industries achieve their goals with creative design and marketing strategies. We are seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team and play a key role in developing engaging social media posts, marketing materials, and client-specific content while also contributing to the overall brand image of Think Mad. We are open to both full-time, part-time, and self-employed candidates, but time spent working with us would need to be in our Widnes office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually compelling social media posts for various platforms, ensuring they align with client branding and capture audience attention.
- Create and design marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital ads for clients, as well as Think Mad’s own marketing campaigns.
- Regularly communicate with clients (potentially daily) to gather design requirements, discuss project specifications, and ensure the work meets or exceeds their expectations.
- Regular calls with clients via telephone, Google Meet, Teams, or Zoom are required (for some clients as often as every day).
- Collaborate with clients and the marketing team to develop creative content that tells a story and effectively communicates the client’s message.
- Build and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring they are visually appealing, responsive, and optimised for user experience.
- Keep up-to-date with design trends and apply innovative ideas to enhance both digital and print materials.
- Manage multiple projects at once, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of work.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and WordPress.
- Experience in creating social media graphics and marketing collateral across various formats.
- A solid portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work in both digital and print media.
- Working knowledge of advanced AI tools like ChatGPT, Eleven Labs, MidJourney, or similar is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients regularly to discuss and understand project needs.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
